We met NameCoach in September 2016 through a mutual friend in GSV Labs, Redwood City. They were looking for a very specific job, an LTI integration with Blackboard.
Contrary to what we have usually done, we had a very surgical role when working with Namecoach. Our job consisted of creating an LTI integration to Blackboard and make it as seamless as the other integrations they already had in place. This would allow any Blackboard user in the world to successfully setup Namecoach in their system with just a few clicks.
Working with Blackboard is not one of our strong suits and definitely a first for the whole team. We nevertheless managed to create the RubyOnRails test driven module and successfully deploy on Blackboard’s test servers within the allocated time for the project.
